Hello! His name is Emmanuel. He is from the Philippines, and he has been sharing his enthusiasm towards ESL for more than 20 years. He is a certified TESOL teacher and he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the Central Philippine University. Throughout his years of teaching, he has taught a variety of subjects, including English and Science at the elementary level. In his classroom, he believes in creating a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel welcomed and valued. He makes sure that students feel heard and understood. He teaches in a manner that encourages them to produce the language without fear of making mistakes.

His teaching philosophy is centered around engaging and challenging students to think critically and creatively while also instilling an interest in and love for learning. For two years, he also managed teachers and conducted workshops/training on classroom management and different teaching methodologies. He believes putting ideas into action improves students learning. Every student has the potential to succeed, and it is his duty to provide them with the tools they need to do so. Outside of teaching, he enjoys cycling, basketball, listening to music, playing the ukulele and the guitar, dancing, cooking and sightseeing.
