天高云淡秋风爽，晴空万里新征程。新学期伊始，中加学校中学部聚焦“双语言”支撑、“双文化”融合、“双一流”追求的国际化办学方向，分别召开了“外教对话班主任”、“中加英语教师联合教研”的座谈会。

When the autumn comes, our new journey starts. At the beginning of the new semester, SCCSH continues to focus on its consistent pursuit of "Bilingualism","Bicultural" and "Double first-class". Dialogues between "foreign teachers and homeroom teachers" as well as "foreign teachers and Chinese English teachers" were held respectively.

“外教对话班主任”的座谈,敞开心扉是第一步，首先，班主任纷纷发言，转达了同学们对外教老师博学、开放、严谨、幽默教风的敬佩，以及对外教课堂的喜欢;外教也表达了对同学们开朗、自信、乐观状态的喜爱之情。接下来，班主任和外教老师分别就如何培养学生“行为自律”、“发展自觉”、“能力自为”、“品格自由”的梯度目标，达成了在课堂管理、学业发展、素养提升等方面合作规范的共识。整个座谈，交流诚恳、互动热烈。

Opening up is the first step in the heated discussion between foreign teachers and homeroom teachers. The homeroom teachers delivered in turns to express all the students' admiration for the foreign teachers' erudite, rigorous and humorous teaching style as well as their passion for the classes. The foreign teachers also showed their love for the students’ vitality and confidence. The teachers then talked about how to cultivate students' "self-discipline in behavior", "self-consciousness in development", "self-revealing in abilities" and "freedom in character". The teachers have reached a consensus on cooperation and standardization in classroom management, academic development and quality improvement.

外教和班主任沟通之后，在了解了学生发展方向和培养目标的基础上，9月14日下班之后，中方的英语老师又与Craig和Jeff老师，围绕提升学生的“英语交际能力”，进行了一场专业的学科研讨。针对学生兴趣、性格、基础的差异，交流了在课堂教学中经常出现的各类问题，例如，如何保证课堂交流的有序高效，如何关注到每一位同学，如何着重培养学生敢于表达、乐于表达、善于表达的能力等，展开了充分的交流，并探讨了相应的解决策略。这次座谈的最大收获，是中加英语教师达成了空前的教育教学盟约——聚焦“育人目标”集体备课、合作教研，在听力、阅读、口语、写作各个方面，都要研究对策，提升学生的英语水平;各司其职、通力合作，双方教师都将立足语言工具、文化理解、批判思维、合作共赢意识和能力的培养目标，如何提高教书育人、立德树人的水平。

On Sept. 14th, there was another workshop among all the English teachers after the communication between the foreign teachers and the homeroom teachers which aimed to improve students' communicative competence in English. According to the differences of students' interest, character and the gap among the students level, they discussed various problems that often appear in teaching, ranging from how to ensure the classroom communication orderly and efficiently, how to pay attention to each student and how to focus on the cultivation of students' ability to express and then teachers give corresponding solutions. The biggest achievement of this workshop is that all the English teachers have reached an unprecedented agreement on education and teaching— to focus on the "Educational Goals". They will do collective lesson preparation, cooperative teaching and research as well as study methods in listening, reading, speaking and writing so as to improve students' English level. All the teachers will base their teaching on critical thinking and win-win cooperation in order to improve the level of teaching and educate the students.

两场座谈，开启了合肥中加新学年“双语言”支撑、“双文化”融合、“双一流”追求的新征程，中加双方教师，都将会以此恳谈为新起点，精诚团结、合作探索、努力创新，共同谱写“国际化”教育的新篇章!

The two workshops have opened a new era to pursue " Bilingualism " " Bicultural " "Double first-class" in the new academic year of SCCSH. All the teachers will take this opportunity as a new starting point to explore cooperation and strive for innovation so as to jointly write a new chapter of international education!
