Lively Opening Ceremony in The Hot Summer

2018年7月16日，合肥高新中加学校第三届加拿大劳瑞尔国际中学生领导力夏令营正式开营啦！劳瑞尔大学是加拿大著名学府，其商学院更是在加拿大高校中名列前茅，而领导力夏令营就是由劳瑞尔大学商学院开展的项目之一。

The Third ISLC International Summer Camp between Wilfrid Laurier University and Sino-Canada Concord School of Hefei opened vigorously on July, 18th,2018. Wilfrid Laurier University is a renowned institution of higher learning in Canada. Its Business Academy ranks the top among the Canadian universities. The ISLC International Summer Camp is one of the programmes that the academy is carrying out. 

加拿大劳瑞尔国际中学生领导力夏令营是中加学校多年来一直坚持开设的特色暑期项目，意在丰富孩子们的暑期生活，培养孩子们团结合作、解决问题、商业思维等领导才能。今日，终于在大家的期盼中，来自加拿大的四位外籍教师，为我校孩子们带来了第一天的精彩课程与有趣互动。

The Wilfrid Laurier University International ISLC Summer Camp is a distinctive summer programme which CCSC insists establishing these years. It aims to enrich the children’s summer holiday and cultivate their leadership talents in cooperation, problem solving and business thinking. Today, with great expectations, we welcomed the four teachers from Canada and they brought us terrific courses and interesting interactions.

欢乐时光

7月16日

早上9：00整，在W316教室，孩子们与外籍教师们初次见面，大家一起相互认识，交流互动，为了加快彼此的熟悉，外教老师们特意设置了精彩纷呈的破冰游戏，大家在游戏中逐渐熟悉，欢笑连连。

At 9:00 this morning, the children met with the foreign teachers for the first time in the classroom W316. The children and the teachers interacted with each other and experienced wonderful ice-breaking games together. Everyone began to know each other and couldn’t help bursting into laughers in the games.

午餐后进入正式的课程阶段，外教老师首先介绍什么是领导力，并告诉学生：任何人都可以成为领导，每一个人都具备成为领导的潜质。通过模拟实际企业管理，将学生们分为小组，鼓励各小组间协商讨论、集思广益。分组模式让孩子们各司其责，共同协作、相互竞争，热情高涨、兴趣十足。

Then in the afternoon, the Canadian teachers introduced to the students what leadership is. They told the students that everyone could be a leader and everyone has the potential to be a leader. In the mock business management part, all the students were divided into several groups and were encouraged to discuss and brainstorm together. Every child played a part in the groups. They cooperated and competed with each other with great interests and enthusiasm.

接下来，外教老师为孩子们呈现了精彩的舞蹈展示，并带领和鼓励孩子们一起进行团队舞蹈学习。孩子们学得都很认真，都在积极为明天的分组舞蹈表演做准备。孩子们是这般得可爱，闪烁着属于他们的光芒！ 

Afterwards, the teachers presented marvelous dance performances to the students and led them to practise Sync Dance in groups together. The students all learned hard and tried their best to get ready for the Sync Dance Group Show tomorrow. They looked so delightful and shined like diamonds in their great efforts.

第一天的国际中学生领导力夏令营在恋恋不舍中结束了，加方老师们对孩子们的表现频频点赞。孩子们也收获了丰富的知识和满满的欢乐。明日精彩继续！

The 1st day of the ISLC Summer Camp ended and the students are reluctant to leave. The Canadian teachers all speak highly of the kids’ behaviors. They gain not only a lot of knowledge but also abundant happiness in this process. The wonderful camp will continue tomorrow.
